I've a question about the smtp service and the opened port. I've a mx record mail.test.com that accept connection on port 25. If from another external network i try to connect to my mx record on port 25 (telnet mail.test.com:25) i can connect without any auth. Is it safe? Or I have to restrict that in some way? And If another person connect to my mx record from external network he should send an email from that? Sorry but i'm new on the field. Thank you
