I've been working on open tracking in some web application. Users can send emails in this application. Those emails contain open tracking pixel to allow open tracking. They can also set up BCC which causes problem. When sender opens email copy, the email is marked as read which is not a desired behaviour.
I'm trying to find a good solution to not mark BCC emails as read. I would like to send two emails if BCC is set. The first one will contain open tracking pixel and the second one will not. Do you think it is a good solution?
