I have a website built using python(3.7) and Flask and the IDE that I'm using is Pycharm.I'm new to these languages, so I don't understand what I'm missing in the code that deals with mail confirmations. Every time a new user registers, a confirmation mail is supposed to be sent to the user's mail ID, but it's not happening.I tried deleting the confirmation token generated in DB and then logging in as the user, but the site doesn't let me.Is it something to do with SMTP settings or the absence of any environment variable??Kindly guide.
